Today was the last morning of our road trip. I woke up just before 6 am. I’d had this dream that people were bullying Aksel.
I went for a little walk and then meditated in my tent.
Dad and I left the site soon after. We stopped at this place with huge rocks sticking out of the earth. It looked like Stonehenge. We walked around for a little while. There were some kids doing rock climbing.
We kept driving. We stopped to make some coffee.
We got to the city and dad dropped me off at my hostel. I took a shower right away. It was my first time showering in a week. Then I did laundry. I went to the park and called Myriam. We only talked for about 25 minutes. We didn’t have much to say. I read on the grass for a little bit.
I went back to the hostel and uploaded some posts to the blog. I met dad at around 7. We went out for our last dinner. He told me that one of his flights got delayed and now all the others were screwed up.
We found a Japanese restaurant. We got those box things. It had a bunch of different foods in it. It was so good. It was nice of him to buy all that. It was pretty expensive.
Then we walked back. We said our goodbyes. It felt sorta strange and sad. It feels like he’s been in NZ for a while. He was here for like 3 weeks.
I’m in this hostel for 7 nights. Then I move into my new place. I can’t wait. Tomorrow morning I’m meeting someone about a job.
